Charles's Story
Life
Retired in 2004 after 43 years of Active Naval Service, having held all Enlisted and Officer ranks from Seaman Recruit to Navy Captain.

was promoted to Master Chief on the same day I was Commissioned an Ensign.
While an Officer, I served in the Medical Service Corps primarily in hospitals as an administrator and as a comptroller. I had a 7-year tour of duty in the Pentagon as a strategic medical and budget program analyst. My last assigment was as a Commanding Officer.
